Reinhard Kramer turns 50

Successful breeder, member of the board, member of the licensing commission - you can hardly be more committed in pony breeding. Reinhard Kramer from Lathen-Wahn manages to get all tasks under one roof in addition to his job as a successful insurance salesman. And today he is 50 years old.

Almost half of his life Reinhard Kramer is a member of the Weser-Ems horse stud book. Seven licensed stallions have been bred by him so far: Prinz Piccolino (by Pilgrim's Red), Proud Ballack (by Black Dancer), Constantino (by Constantin), Daily Pleasure WE (by HB Daylight I), Double-o-seven (by Dornik B), Dirigent WE (by Dimension AT, 2014 WE Reserve Champion)and Omega AT WE (by Olivier K WE, 2016 WE Reserve Champion). Nine mares were awarded with the state premium: St.Pr.St. Syrah (by Morbidelli), St.Pr./El.St. Shakyrah (by Branduardi M), St.Pr./El.St. Sophie (by Dressman I), St.Pr.St. Symphonie (by Halifax) and St.Pr.St. Samba de Ricarda (by Dressman I). Wengelo's Ricardo) even Champion mares, St.Pr.St. Sophia (by Champus K) Reserve Champion Cow of Weser-Ems Elite Mare Shows, Shakyra won the title of Vice Champion Mare at the Federal Mare Show in Warendorf, Samba de Ricarda became Champion Mare of the German Elite Mare Championships in Lienen. In Lienen, two breeding products by Reinhard Kramer were already at the top of the list at the German Foal Championships: 2010 Champagner Royale and 2015 Next Generation.

Ponies that have been successful in sport can also be found in his breeding career. As examples: Grazia WE (by Pilgrim's Red) won the bronze medal at the Bundeschampionat of six-year-old dressage ponies in 2009, Golden Touch WE (by HET Golden Dream) took fourth and fifth place at the Bundeschampionat of five and six-year-old dressage ponies in 2011 and 2012, Daily Pleasure WE (by HB Daylight I) is the reigning Bundeschampion of five-year-old dressage ponies. Rainman WE (by Ruby Gold) is successful in advanced (S) level dressage, Carlsson WE (by Joldis Charmant) collects his ribbons in driving sport up to advanced (S) level.

He currently breeds seven mares, three of which go back to the Sarah line (Samba de Ricarda, Sophie and Sophia), Grazia is sister to the licensed stallions Prinz Piccolino and Daily Pleasure WE, her dam is sister to Dance Star AT, Der feine Lord, D'Artagnan I and II, Dark Knight, Dynamik Star AT, Dynasty AT and Dan Kano AT, from the same line comes St. Pr.A. Glamour Model, who completes the broodmare line. Derbina Gold and Die feine Rose are also part of this line.

Already in 1999 Reinhard Kramer is one of the "volunteers", he was elected as delegate for the district Emsland/Grafschaft Bentheim. In 2002, he was a member of both the managing board and the licensing commission, and he still holds both offices (see above) today. Let's hope that it will remain like this for a long time to come!
